Creating a sense of place with a butterfly garden
With this project the homeowner and I wanted to create a new identity for this flipped house that would bring back the old Spanish California style. We used the three species recipe for butterflies, creating habitat.
Combining CA natives with Mediterranean favorites like Spanish Lavender and Geraniums spilling over pots is the real magic.
